SKYJET LOOKS TO BECOME THE WORLD’S AIR TAXI

Most of us have daydreamed about spontaneously flying to New Orleans for lunch or grabbing a quick trip to New York on a weeknight to catch a Broadway show.  The costs and trouble of doing this through commercial air carriers usually brings those fantasies of impulsive travel crashing to the ground.

However, business professionals know how to get such tailor-made air travel on short notice.  Skyjet is one company in particular that has built a business by getting travelers to their destinations whenever needed.  Skyjet, a subsidiary of Bombardier, offers memberships (with membership cards) that allow members to use flight services for a designated number of hours.  Of course, you can buy as many hours as you want and big companies have found that purchasing Skyjet hours is more cost effective than owning and operating corporate jets.

Looking for new business opportunities, Skyjet is taking its operations international. Skyjet believes that the Middle East and Asia offer the best prospects for attracting new clients for membership jet travel.

Additionally, Skyjet is trying new ways to get a little less corporate.  Skyjet has joined Distinctive Holiday Homes, a company that allows its members to share luxury vacation houses and a sailing yacht.  Skyjet hopes to induce DHH members to use Skyjet planes for quick jaunts or emergency business meeting.

This concept is also growing in the automobile market.  Many are finding it hard to justify the costs of purchasing and caring for exotic automobiles.  As a result, exotic car clubs are popping up all over the country.  Don’t believe me?  Check out www.exoticcarclubs.com to see a nationwide directory of these clubs.

DFW Elite Car Club (www.dfwelitecarclub.com) is one such car sharing club in Dallas, TX that offers its members access to over forty exotic cars and, like Skyjet, offers different levels of membership with different levels of exotic car usage.

With a better understanding of the true costs of exotic car ownership, many car enthusiasts are choosing exotic car rental in lieu of purchasing.  www.rentexoticcars.net is an excellent directory of exotic car rental companies throughout the United States, if you need to find the sort of specialized rental agency to get you a Ferrari in Fort Worth or an Aston Martin in Los Angeles.  DFW Elite Auto Rental (www.dfweliteautorental.com) services the Dallas/Ft. Worth area with an elite car collection that includes everything from Bentleys, Rolls Royces, Lamborghinis to armored vehicles.  DFW Elite Auto Rental offers weekly internet exotic car rental specials and can deliver cars nationwide.

For the ultimate day-long driving experience, some companies offer exotic car tours.  These tours are common in major cities such as New York and Chicago.  DFW Drive Your Dream (www.dfwdriveyourdream.com) offers tours throughout Texas that allow participants to drive five exotic cars back to back in a single full day experience. Check out these Drive Your Dream Tour videos for more information.
