POLAROID DVD RECORDER COULD MAKE A BIG SPLASH THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

Let’s face it, everybody loves gadgets.  Especially those gadgets that help us to save time or, waste time as the case may be.  With that understanding in place, the Polaroid DVD Recorder should prove to be a big player during this holiday shopping rush.

Many people may initially think, “Ok, another DVD recorder, what’s the big deal.”  If that were all that the Polaroid DVD Recorder could do, they would be right to be apathetic.  However, the Polaroid DVD Recorder combines the existing myriad of DVD recorders on the market with the beloved DVR or Digital Video Recorder.

DVRs have taken the world by storm, allowing TV viewers to record shows at the touch of a button and electing to record whole seasons of shows while deftly eliminating pesky commercials and credits.  This Polaroid DVD Recorder possesses these same features because of its 160 GB hard drive (remember when 1 GB was a big deal!).

This internal storage allows users to record over 200 hours of movies/television shows.  The DVD recorder capability also allows viewers to then copy their favorite shows from the hard drive onto disks.  Furthermore, viewers can play around with editing, add chapters, and delete commercials among many other features.  With a moderate price tag of around $250, quite a few of nifty Polariod DVD recorders should find their way under trees in the coming weeks.

In other holiday shopping news, many consumers are electing to go in a different direction to spoil their loved ones.  One cool option I have come across is an exotic car tour.  These tours allow participants to enjoy driving exotic sports cars back to back on a preplanned road course. Think Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Gallardo and Bentley GTC!  DFW Elite Auto Rental’s subsidiary DFW Drive Your Dream offers tour routes throughout the state of Texas and has four different tours.  A tour makes a superb holiday gift for a car enthusiast. Check out videos of past tours at www.dfwdriveyourdream.com.

For those who truly want to pamper their car-loving loved ones, there are also exotic car clubs.  www.exoticcarclubs.com is an excellent online directory of car sharing clubs all over the country.  DFW Elite Car Club (www.dfwelitecarclub.com) in Dallas Fort Worth offers its members several different tiers of membership to give them the exact amount of high adrenaline sports car driving that fits with their lifestyle.

Best of all, members enjoy  access to a garage of over 40 elite vehicles without the costs of depreciation, maintenance, tires, tolls, etc. It’s a way to indulge a passion for the world’s finest automobiles that even your CPA will love!  Check out this car sharing club video or an excellent article from the Robb Report Collection entitled The Spice of Life that profiles five of the nation’s top exotic car sharing clubs.

If you would prefer to make your arrival at the holiday party arrival memorable, consider renting a Rolls Royce in Houston, or renting a Porsche in San Antonio. Agencies specializing in exotic car rental can be a wonderful way to give the person on your holiday list who has always wanted to drive an exotic car the memory of a lifetime for a day or a weekend.  www.rentexoticcars.net is an outstanding directory for finding exotic car rental companies, no matter what city you live in.  DFW Elite Auto Rental (www.dfweliteautorental.com) services the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and allows customers to choose from a huge collection of luxury cars and even offers internet exotic car rental specials, just in time for the holidays.
