Cobo Center for one evening turned into the most lucrative car dealership in the world.
Deals to sell cars worth $3 million were struck at an invitation-only showcase of the auto industry’s most prestigious brands, and they paid off handsomely not only for the automakers, but also for the North American International Auto Show and Detroit.
The event, held for the first time this year, was called the Gallery. It included gourmet food, fine art and a unique chance for wealthy customers to connect with what makes the brands special. The Detroit Auto Dealers Association conceived the evening to keep the show attractive to luxury brands after Porsche decided not to participate this year.
This private party was one of a kind car dealing in style. finish getting the details

Though the guest list wasn’t revealed I wonder if our local Ron Sturgeon of DFW Elite Auto Rental was one of the VIP guest.  And if he was what new addition did he get for the rental fleet. Maybe a new Ferrari or Bentley.
