Hennessey Venom GT: 1000 horsepower, 2700 lbs

Hennessey Performance Engineering’s Venom GT, the well-known Dodge Viper tuner’s first concept car, has the kind of specs that make any sports car lover go weak at the knees. With 1,000 horsepower churning out of a mid-mounted, twin-turbo, Viper-sourced V-10, a six-speed manual or sequential gearbox, and a curb weight of just 2700 lbs, Hennessey reckons the Venom GT can get 0 to 62 mph runs clicked off in less than 2.5 seconds and head on to 186 mph in just 14 seconds.
