Given that the Ford Crown Victoria is made in Canada, it only makes sense that the organizers of the Police Car Owners of America would plan their show of vintage police cars in such a way as to include a stop at the Ford plant in Talbotville.
The star of the car show that featured Mustangs, Cameros and even a Paddy Wagon– was a 1967 Plymouth Fury that once was a patrol car for the Texas Highway Patrol.

I wonder if that old Fury could catch DFW Elite Auto Rental’s classic 1965 Corvette rental? Dallas would be a great place for the next Police Car Owners’ event. I’ll bet there are a lot of classic and restored police cars still in the hands of vintage car buffs in Texas!
