Exotic Car Maker Fisker Goes Green: New Partnership to Produce Luxury Hybrid Under 100K

Fisker is well known as a coachbuilder, rebodying BMW and other premium products with some exquisite workmanship. Looks as if they are taking the hybrid luxury car plunge with lithium ion battery technology.

Fisker’s decision to become a higher volume producer of green cars is a bold new direction for a company led by one of the pre-eminent minds in automotive design. Henrik Fisker is responsible for the design of one of my favorite Dallas exotic car rentals: the Aston Martin V-8 Vantage. They are planning to produce 15,000 of the luxury hybrids annually. The exotic hybrid luxury car will be introduced at the Detriot auto show in January and is expected to cost less than 100k.
