Economist Names Suitors on Ford’s Sale of Land Rover and Jaguar

The Economist online has a superb article taken from the print edition on the fate of Jaguar and Land Rover.

Well reported has been Ford’s desire to rid itself of the luxury brands, less well reported who the suitors are. Economist names a few of the most likely.

Among them are four private equity firms and a pair of Indian carmakers.

The article has a beautiful photo of Jaguar’s proposed redesign of its flagship luxury sedan. Looks like it could be as popular a Dallas luxury car rental as our new Aston Martin V-8 Vantage rental or Bentley GTC rental.

Will just have to see what direction the new ownership goes. Stay tuned!
