Dodge has released the specs and photos of the new 2008 Viper SRT-10 and Coupe.

Six hundred horsepower; 560 lb-ft of torque. The 2008 Viper SRT is bigger and badder than ever. The new 8.4 liter V10 engine with new intake and exhaust manifolds deliver 0 to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds. Or, just about the same time it’ll take you to catch your breath.
- V10 ENGINE – The 8.4-liter engine has a new cylinder block and modified cylinder heads with variable valve timing (VVT).
- REAR DIFFERENTIAL - New, stronger GKN Visco-Lok limited-slip rear differentials.
- TRANSMISSION - The Viper’s transmission upgrade increases shift quality and torque capacity for a whopping 600 horsepower.
