This newer version is a special edition of the Gallardo and they’ve boosted the power output of the 5L V-10 engine to 530HP. This translates to 0 to 60 is less than 4 seconds, thanks to a weight reduction of about 220 pounds from the car. Top speed pushes the envelope to just under 200 MPH.

With the worldwide debut of the four-cylinder Mercedes-Benz Vision C220 Bluetec concept at the upcoming Geneva auto show, the German automaker is expanding its clean diesel technology to the lower end of the market.
With the Vision C220 Bluetec, which is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission and a turbocharged four-cylinder power plant that delivers 170 horsepower and peak torque of 295 pound-feet, Mercedes-Benz has its eye on a wider portfolio of products in its Bluetec lineup. It said that the Vision C220 Bluetec gets 42.7 mpg on diesel fuel.
In a statement, the automaker said: “The [Bluetec] technology is currently being adapted to European market requirements and further Mercedes-Benz models, the aim being to also offer Bluetec in passenger cars for European customers, starting in 2008.” For the U.S. market, the German automaker is offering three V6 Bluetec models — the GL-Class, M-Class and R-Class.
“With the Vision C220 Bluetec, Mercedes-Benz is providing a taste of things to come as part of its Bluetec initiative,” the company said.
The Bluetec technology in the new concept includes an oxidizing catalytic converter, which reduces emissions of carbon monoxide and unburned hydrocarbons, as well as a particulate filter.
What this means to you: Mercedes-Benz continues to argue that diesel is the way to go and it is intent on rolling out such models up and down its lineup.

When you have 500 horsepower and 500 ft-lb of torque you know you can do some serious damage. As soon as you hit the gas you go straight back in your seat and all you hear is that massive supercharged V-8 roar to life.
You look in the rear view mirror and see nothing but smoke and you have already hit 4th gear. You might not be able to do that much heavy driving with our Ford GT but you can come pretty dang close. All you need to do is call up DFW Elite Auto Rental and set up a time to rent this car or 50 of our other amazing cars.

The H3 is great! It is a sturdy, yet luxurious SUV that appears larger than it really is due to its boxy design. The nicest feature is that it really turns on a dime. The turning radius is unusually tight which makes parking lot driving very easy. The interior is very nice and the layout of the dash makes sense. The ride is firm and sturdy, but still comfortable. The gas mileage is decent as is the pick up. It’s not a sports car, but certainly moves you around nicely. I LOVE it! It literally turns heads….everybody looks when you drive by. You can see out the rear window just fine…just takes a little getting used to. The rear tail gate is easy to open and takes just s little muscle to close…no problem at all.

The super-fast supercar, which replaces the beloved 456 GT in the Ferrari line, adds 540 horsepower to an already supercharged car club collection. With a V12 engine capable of propelling it upwards of 200 mph, the Scaglietti is as exciting as it is rare. This elite Ferrari is only being produced in a limited run of about 4,000 cars per year.
A combination of raw power and sheer luxury, the Scaglietti is equally at home on the track or in the countryside. Its handcrafted leather and brushed aluminum interior creates an elegant setting for making laps in the lap of luxury. On the outside, the car turns heads thanks to the work of Italian designer Pininfarina.
When you get behind the wheel of the Ferrari Scaglietti, it is almost impossible to believe that you’re driving a 4,100-pound automobile. The Scaglietti is unlike any other Ferrari out there.”
The Scaglietti joins an enviable 4+ million dollar garage of club vehicles at DFW Elite Car Club.com; other cars include the 2006 Ford GT, the Rolls-Royce Phantom VI, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, the 2007 BMW M6, the Porsche Twin Turbo and more. It’s been a regular Maserati love-in over here these past few days. First we got a teaser sketch of the coupe designed by Pininfarina. Then the Trident marque gave us three images of the stunning new GranTurismo in advance of its Geneva debut. Then we brought you the MC12 XX by Edo Competition. And now Maserati has hit us with the press release for the GranTurismo and an additional profile shot. It must be Christmas time for fans of the house that Alfieri built.
The press release confirms certain details about the stylish new coupe and reveals others. The 4.2-liter V8, derived from the Ferrari-designed engine in the Quattroporte, gets a power spike of 9 horsepower up to 405. It’s driving through a fully automatic gearbox – presumably the new ZF unit recently placed in the Quattroporte – but we’d speculate the paddle-shifted sequential will find its way in their eventually despite the anticipated availability of paddle shifters on the torque-converting auto-box. Weight is distributed, as reported, in an ideal 49/51 rear bias. The styling was penned by Pininfarina’s American wonderboy Jason Castriota, the same guy responsible for the design of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano and the custom Enzo-based P4/5 one-off.
The GranTurismo’s launch at this year’s Geneva show marks the (approximate) 60th anniversary of the launch of Maserati’s first road car, the original Gran Turismo, which was also designed by Pinin Farina (in an era when words were separated by spaces).

On a nice summer day and you’re ripping through the gears of a six-speed transmission with an LS7 pushing 500 horsepower to the ground. Taking turns at speeds you wouldn’t take a regular car at. You look in the rearview mirror and see a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and a Porsche trailing behind you. Well with DFW Drive Your Dream tours you can do that on a Saturday for about seven to eight hours. Instead of just staying in one car you get to test-drive each car in the tour for about 20-30 minutes a piece.

Feel Like a Million Dollars
Cruising down 121 around 95 mph in my Ferrari f-430. Windows down music blaring with a 490 HP 4.3 litre v-8 putting some intense g-forces on my body. With all the ladies staring at me, all this makes me feel like a million dollars.
Since I don’t have the $168,000 to buy one of these amazing Ferrari’s, the next best thing would be to rent one. At
DFW Elite Auto Rental for $1,650 a day I can enjoy this and many other cars like it.
