As a fan of the best cars in the world, I love to see entrepreneurs making a go of it in exotic car rental in Austin and across the United States.
California Realtor, Mark Heitmann, and BMW tuner and racing icon, T.C. Kline, are doing just that with a 4-month-old venture called Cool Cars Santa Barbara.com.
The have a selection of sports and luxuy cars that includes everything from a Lotus Exige S to an Aston Martin Vantage. The stable of cars includes street legal, but specially modified, T.C. Cline racing carbon roadsters and coupes.
And SB’s Santa Barbara location puts them near some of the most scenic driving in North America. They have Monterey Historic Weekend packages that include Thursday pickup and Sunday pm or Monday am drop off. The package prices include 800 miles of highway bliss. Although, I am partial to scenic North Texas Hill Country and the excellent exotics at DFW Elite Auto Rental, a drive along the California coast in an exotic car does sound like fun.
