On June 16th Troy Critchley lost control of his dragster at a “Cars and Kids” Car Show in a small town about an hour east of Memphis, TN.
Six people were killed and 23 people were injured badly enough to need hospitalization.
The father of a pair of teenage girls killed in the accident has filed suit against the Australian dragster owner who now resides in the Dallas suburbs. The suit accuses the driver and event organizers of being negligent.
According to an AP story run in the online version of the Sidney Morning Herald, the suit seeks 5M in compensatory damages and 15M in punitive damages for the car show accident.
