Cool Post by Autoblog – Oldest Cadillac on the Planet Up For Auction in Monterey on Aug 17th

The Caddy is number 13 and according to the post, the 12 before it and all believed to be long gone (who says 13 is an unlucky #) Cool bit of trivia, the 1903 Model A Runabout cost the original owner about $850 new. The Motor Trend poster indicates that would have been about the average annual salary for a factory worker in 1903. Lucky number 13 was the first Caddy to be sold west of the Mississippi.

I wonder what it will bring in today’s market? A Caddy, Fowgetaboutit!
