The Caddy is number 13 and according to the post, the 12 before it and all believed to be long gone (who says 13 is an unlucky #) Cool bit of trivia, the 1903 Model A Runabout cost the original owner about $850 new. The Motor Trend poster indicates that would have been about the average annual salary for a factory worker in 1903. Lucky number 13 was the first Caddy to be sold west of the Mississippi.
I wonder what it will bring in today’s market? A Caddy, Fowgetaboutit!
