Caterhams tend to divide opinion. Whilst some proclaim them the most fun it’s possible to have with your trousers on, others resolutely fail to see the point. Despite being an enthusiast driver, I’d usually erred towards the latter point of view, wondering why anybody would subject themselves to such abject masochism. Until, that is, I drove a Superlight R300.
As for me there is no debate of owning or not to own. DFW Elite Car Club offers to take all of the car expense of owning and in return allows me all the opportunities to drive any exotic car in the garage. How about one week driving a Lamborghini and the next Aston Martin this is the only debate I have with myself.
