The A4 is Audi’s near-luxury sedan, which was restyled for the middle of the 2005 model year. Introduced for the 1996 model year, the A4 has become the automaker’s most popular model. When it was redesigned for the 2002 model year, the A4 received more powerful engines and additional interior space. The convertible became available for 2003. The A4 Cabriolet is redesigned for 2007 with bold new styling highlighted by Audi’s signature single-frame grille, newly styled taillights and clear-glass headlights and new-generation steering wheels. The suspension system is completely revised using components from the S4 and A6, a revised brake system and the steering components come from the S4. The interior is styled with new-generation steering wheels and door sill trims with aluminum inserts and numerous inlays are standard.
