Ok, so this isn’t strictly about exotic car rental, but it’s still pretty interesting. Bob Golfen wrote a story for the Arizona Sun that describes a local Ferrari owner and his car. Mark Kramer, a Phoenix entrepreneur and owner of several McDonalds restaurants, has owned his ’81 since it was new. Far from locking it away, Kramer insists that “The best thing about owning a Ferrari is driving it.” As Kramer says in the article, “If you maintain them,change the oil, and keep them tuned, they stay in good shape.”
According the the article, Kramer owns several Ferraris, and one of his MacDonald’s restaurants is a famed cruising and gathering spot for local car enthusiasts and their cars. It’s a neat article, but I prefer renting an exotic car and leaving the maintenance to someone else,
