Argentina probes Venezuelan military attaché

A Lamborghini Gallardo, valued at USD 200,000 and owned by Venezuelan military attaché in Argentina, colonel Oran Jesús Primera, is under investigation by the Argentinean justice.

Argentinean daily newspaper Perfil Sunday published a report on the case of the imports of luxury cars by “a sector” in the Argentinean Foreign Ministry under diplomatic tax exemptions, for subsequent sale outside Argentina.

Based on the report, in 2004-2007 there were 960 applications to import vehicles under diplomatic licenses.

Renowned Argentinean personalities are included in the file of the investigation conducted by Marcelo Aguinsky, a judge in economic-related crime matters.

Regarding the Venezuelan official, Perfil claimed, “The Venezuelan military attaché in Argentina, colonel Oran Jesús Primera Petit shares the USD 800,000 bagman Guido Antonini Wilson’s taste for speed. The military officer purchased last year a Lamborghini Gallardo, and the speedy car is among the 56 cars under investigation.”
