Connie Beard from the Paris News has a nice write up that should be of interest to the regular readers of the Dallas exotic car rental blog.
This Saturday from 10-2 Cox Field will become a playground for fans of flight. The second annual event will draw planes of nearly every description and vintage to Paris, Texas.
But, don’t fret if your interests run more to classic cars and motorcycles.
A display of vintage cars and tractors will be part of the event. Fans of two-wheeled transport should know the local Harley Davidson club plans to be out in force. And for fans of the latest cars, some local dealerships will be on hand with the best of their cars.
According to Lisa Wright, director of community development for Paris, TX, one of the highlights of this year’s event comes courtesy of the Southwest Soaring Club from Caddo Mills.
Folks with the dream of flying without an in flight meal can snag a glider ride for $30. Even a cheapskate like me can afford what surely is a bargain priced thrill.
Sure seems like you would have to be crazy to miss the Paris Texas Fly In! I might be am too chicken for the glider, but I’d love to see what area pilots think of DFW Elite’s London Taxi Rental. Even among the classic cars and custom Harleys, I bet that it would still be a real conversation starter.
It might be the only time you can ever catch a London Taxi at the Paris airport.
That was just wrong.
