Just in time for it’s 40th anniversary, the high performance division of MB will be rolling out the CL65 at the NY Auto Show this year.

Powered by a 6.5L 12-cylinder engine producing a gigantic 604HP, this engine is a pure work of art with a deep throated rumble when idling and a menacing roar when she’s opened up. There will be a Limited Edition of this beauty, as in limited to 20 in the US and 40 overseas, that will have a paint job like none other in a finish that is known as Alubeam, which has an appearance of liquid metal, sort of like the one seen on the Terminator 3 movie . The limited-edition CL65 will also feature carbon-fiber interior inserts on the doors and instrument panels, as well as quilted leather on the doors and seats.

Prices are estimated to roll in around $185,000 for the “standard” edition and somewhere in the ballpark of $200,000 for the Limited Edition model. A truly beautiful piece of workmanship she is, be sure to check it out when it hits the market!
