State troopers arrested two men for speeding and DUI in the same rare Ferrari, thanks to the help of a State Patrol airplane, the patrol reported.
Troopers on the ground pulled the vehicle over in Seattle and arrested the driver, a 35-year-old Monroe man, on suspicion of reckless driving and DUI.
The vehicle’s owner, a 31-year-old Woodinville man who was also intoxicated, was a passenger in the car when it was pulled over. The owner waited until a tow truck arrived and troopers left with the original driver. He then sent the truck away and got into the driver’s seat, the news release said. The State Patrol airplane was still overhead.
The Woodinville man was pulled over a short distance away, arrested and cited on suspicion of DUI and obstructing a police officer.
The Ferrari was impounded.
